Lavender Harvest

Lavender Harvest

We harvest our lavender in the spring morning when the plant is dry and the sun is less intense, to preserve the quality of the oil in the blossoms. The lavender flower-covered stems are dried for a few days to remove excess moisture and enhances the quality of the essential oil. We then slowly and lovingly distil our Lavender oil from the flowering tops of the plant to ensure all the vital therapeutic compounds are preserved.

Lavender Origin

Lavender Origin

Referred to as true lavender, our lavender begins its journey in the rolling fields of radiant purple flowers that dominate the landscape in Provence, France. Our Lavender thrives in the Mediterranean climate for a quality oil unrivalled elsewhere in the world.

Can't Live Without It!.

I use lavender essential oil for so many things: a few drops on my pillow every night to promote sound sleep on cuts/scratches so they heal quickly and to stop infection in my laundry rinse for fabulous smelling clothes massaged into my temples when I have a headache I can't live without it!

The lavender essential oil is very calming.

The lavender essential oil is great in the large or small bottle as they have great dripping lids for good droplet size measuring. They are clean and pure products

Gentle pure essence.

This is worth it. Its a gentle essence and its pure

Love lavender.

I have used this brand of lavender oil for years, I burn it in my oil burner, sprinkle on our bed linen, put in bath of my little boy, I even rub the voil on his and my feet at night to help with sleep. And the size is awesone, such value.

Lovely Lavender!.

I love the quality of the oils from In Essence and this Lavender Oil is essential oil 100% which is great for when I'm using a few drops in either my electric vaporiser or my Candle Vaporiser. It's a quality fresh pure lavender scent which is great for vaporising on it's own for a floral relaxing scent or for mixing with my orange oil from In Essence which is anti-stress and calming. I love collecting my In Essence oils and this one is a basic that's very 'country' and pleasant in any room of my house.

wonderfully relaxing.

I recently bought this lavender oil to use in my electric vapouriser and it is gorgeous. Lavender is one of my favourite scents, it is so relaxing and makes the whole room smell divine. I also love that is 100% pure. If I am feeling particularly stressed I also open the bottle and have a few deep sniffs to calm me down, it works! Any Tips?: A few drops in a warm bath is also a wonderful way to relax. Ideal For...: Lavender oil is one of the safe oils and can be used by most people. Always read the label first though.

This oil is very strong so only a couple drops of it are needed. I love the lavender scent, I apply it when I have a headache on my temples and it seems to help me relax and destress. I sometimes apply it to my pillow to help with sleeping and I think it is a great product to have. I would buy it again but it lasts ages so I have not needed to rebuy it yet.

I love the quality and the scents of In Essence" and I sometimes mix two fragrances together to give it a different scent. I also like the Rose Geranium. All you need is a couple of drops to release a pleasant fragrant swirling around the home.Any Tips?: Read the leaflet and mix fragrances together. Some have a relaxing others have an inspirational effect. Ideal For...: Everyone who loves a natural product.

Received my In Essence Gift from BeautyHeaven.

I know I rated the Lavender Essence before but in the mean time I have received my gift. Thank You so much. The pack contained a beautiful ceramic heater with a tealight and lavender fragrance, ready to be used. I added a few lavender drops to some water and it took a few moments for the water to heat and the fragrance to distribute. The scent is heavenly and the diffuser with its neutral colour and design fits anywhere. Any Tips?: Set up a couple diffusers in different rooms and live in heaven. I believe this would be more effective if you choose the same fragrance when using them at the same time. Ideal For...: suitable for anyone who isn't sensitive to fragrances.

I have always loved the scent of lavender and have no idea how I managed without it. I have lavender burning on a constant basis, often blended with something else. There really are different" lavender perfumes and some of the oils are not wonderful. In Essence essential oil is reliable pure and constant. If you love the lavender oil as I do you know it is always going to smell the same with In Essence. I carry a bottle of In Essence lavender oil with me in my handbag in case I get a headache - lavender is one of the very few oils that can be used directly on the skin without a carrier oil. If I do get a headache I dab a drop on each side of my temple and on each wrist pulse point and almost always the headache doesn't get any worse often it will go completely. I also use the lavender oil in a burner and on my skin if I have difficulty sleeping. I honestly couldn't manage without my lavender oil and In Essence is my preferred brand as I know I can trust it completely. It is impossible to praise the calming benefits of lavender oil too much. Any Tips?: If the perfume is too strong for you on its own try blending it with a few drops of another essential oil. Ideal For...: Anyone especially anyone who needs calming.

Versatile and calming.

You can buy a budget quality lavender oil in the chemist or supermarket which is good for soothing itches, insect bites etc. However, if you want a lavender oil with therapeutic benefits, then you need to spend a bit more money and buy one from a company such as In Essence. If you are just starting out in building a collection of essential oils, lavender oil should be at the top of your list because of its versatility. If I'm feeling emotional, lavender oil can help me feel more relaxed. I love to use lavender oil before bed in a massage oil blend or in my electric vaporiser. Sprinkling a few drops of lavender oil onto your pillow is a lovely way to fall asleep. I have an ongoing issue with an itchy scalp. I use a few different essential oils to help calm the irritation, and lavender oil is one of them. I apply a couple drops of the undiluted oil onto my scalp, and I get quick relief. Lavender oil is generally safe to use on the skin in an undiluted form. However, it's always best to first do a patch test on your skin to make sure that your skin can tolerate it.
