Bergamot (Citrus Aurantium var. bergamia) pure essential oil has been traditionally used in aromatherapy to relieve irritability and symptoms of stress, provides symptomatic relief of sore throats; and is used to cleanse and tone acne-prone skin.

How to use this product

Methods of Use (Adults Only)
Vaporisation: Add 6-9 Drops (0.2mL - 0.3mL) to the water in your diffuser.
Massage: Add 6 Drops (0.2mL) to 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil and massage into chest and back. The mixture can be kept for 24 hours at room temperature.

The peel from this unripe fruit ( smaller than a grapefruit) is cold-pressed to produce a olive-green coloured oil.

In Essence Bergamot is produced by a family business who has been growing and harvesting citrus in this region for over a hundred years and who still harvest their entire crop by hand. They are deeply committed to supporting and protecting their traditional harvest and extraction methodsof this high quality, sustainable citrus fruit.

Yes, 1 drop of Begamot may be vaporised well away from the cot after 3 months

Is Bergamot safe to use during pregnancy?

Yes, 3 drops of Begamot may be vaporised after the first trimester

Is Bergamot safe to use on my skin?

Yes, Bergamot may be massaged onto the skin once diluted in carrier oil. To create a massage blend, add 6 drops of Bergamot into 12ml of massage base oil.
